🤖 CD♻️Should the government reuse decontaminated soil below radioactive limits in public works?
Soil removed during decontamination after the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster is stored at interim facilities in Fukushima Prefecture. By law, it must be permanently disposed of outside the prefecture by March 2045. To reduce the volume requiring final disposal, the government plans to reuse soil with radioactivity levels below the prescribed limit in public works projects.
